Job Description
This hybrid Electrical Engineer role supports the Axonics Guardian project and focuses on integrating an acquired company’s medical device technology into the Boston Scientific portfolio. The engineer will identify compliance gaps against Boston Scientific work instructions and SOPs, develop remediation strategies, and support electrical design remediation, product refinement, testing, and documentation. The role requires close collaboration with project leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective integration of implantable medical device technologies.
Compensation: $50/hr to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
• Medical device industry experience (required)
• Experience with implantable medical devices, including testing
• Strong experience with electrical and/or systems engineering design documentation
• Experience with electrical design remediation, product design refinement, and specification development
• Ability to prepare and validate test methods and write technical reports
• Ability to analyze technical inputs from multiple sources and make sound engineering recommendations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with IEC 14708 and ISO/IEC 45502 Active Implantable Medical Device standards
• Familiarity with IEC 60601 Electrical Medical Equipment standards
• Experience using Altium and/or LTspice
• Experience with medical device Design Acceptance and Design Verification testing
• Ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
