Job Description

The Benefits Coordinator is primarily responsible for administration of the employee fleet benefit program, including managing program requirements, verification of eligibility, managing all aspects of the claims process when there are accidents, as well as regular and ad-hoc reporting. This role also supports all other benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401k plans and employee perks. This role will collaborate closely within the benefits team to ensure that all benefits needs are me t and properly communicated to ensure seamless experiences for employees.

PR: $35 - $40

Required Skills & Experience

Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a benefits administration capacity (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this role).

Responsibilities and Duties
- Serves as subject matter expert for the fleet benefits program
- Presents benefits to eligible employees at monthly meetings and distributes all benefit enrollment materials
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments
- Provides vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues
- Follows up on claims until closed, communicating with employees, fleet insurance carrier and auto body providers
- Responds to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
- Provides both regular and ad-hoc reporting
- Provides excellent customer service both internally and externally to all stakeholders of the benefit
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

- Understanding of employee benefits and applicable laws

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS (ADP) and Zendesk

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
