Job Description

Remote role with 25% travel included.

Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Risk & Re‑engineering, this role leads the evolution of the client's Re‑engineering function from a regional, ticket‑based support model into an enterprise‑wide business transformation capability. This position is backfilling someone who retired, and now has an expanded scope and visibility across the company. The Director will run the Re‑engineering Center of Excellence based in Mexico, defining the operating model, service catalog, playbooks, and standards while scaling process re‑engineering, automation, and consolidation solutions across insurance distribution, BPO, franchising, and corporate functions. This role is highly hands‑on and entrepreneurial, similar to building a startup within a mature organization.

What you’ll do:
Build and lead the enterprise re‑engineering portfolio, service catalog, and operating model
Drive end‑to‑end process discovery, future‑state design, and business case development using structured frameworks (e.g., Lean / Six Sigma)
Embed controls by design and partner closely with Risk, Finance, PMO, and Technology
Enable automation, process mining, analytics, and workflow solutions (Tableau, enterprise data warehouse, low‑code/RPA)
Lead and grow a Mexico‑based team (currently 1 manager and 2 process engineers with planned expansion)
Influence leaders across the enterprise and drive adoption
