- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges
- Research and obtain budgetary estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare detailed cost estimates that include material costs, labor costs, equipment rentals, permits, and overhead
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process
- Prepare cost reports and variance analyses to identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions
- Stay up to date on current construction methods, materials, and costs
- Update Standard Estimating Tool for use by Project Managers at sites
- Develop and Lead estimating training for Project Managers and Planners at sites across the enterprise
- Domestic travel required

- 5+ years of experience in project planning and coordination
- 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5+ years of experience in Material estimating
- 5+ years of experience preparing time, cost, and labor estimates
- 5+ years of experience with Estimates at Completion, Data Analysis, and/or Budgeting/Cost Performance Reporting
