Job Description
A cutting edge start up, looking to radically accelerate air travel through hypersonic aircrafts, is looking for Build Engineers to join their growing team. You will be supporting everything from hardware design, tooling, testing and flight readiness to process development and vehicle assembly. You will support the product lifecycle from component design release to vehicle integration. Stages include detailed CAD/BOM, parts ready for build, assembly ready for test, A tested assembly, and assembly fully integrated to the vehicle and ready for flight. You will be handed mostly completed tasks for RE's, so your role will involve 60% design and 40% build. You will collaborate with high level design concepts and turn them into detailed designs.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, or other engineering field
Expertise working within CAD
Ability to design, build, break, and iterate quickly, through the implementation phase
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and GD&T fundamentals
Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter and NX
Experience working for a new space/aerospace/aviation company
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience standing up production lines or test infrastructure
Leadership experience
