Insight Global is looking for an Automation Engineer to work in Hawthorne, CA for a pioneering aerospace and technology company is on a mission to expand humanity’s reach beyond Earth. Role Overview
As an Operations Engineer on the Growth Analytics & Automation team, you’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining automation tools that drive user acquisition, market expansion, and revenue generation. You’ll collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with strategic goals. Your work will include building monitoring systems, generating insights, and communicating performance metrics to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation systems that support customer growth, market launches, and user experience improvements
- Implement monitoring and alerting tools to ensure automation reliability
- Manage stakeholder requests and prioritize tasks effectively
- Track and report on automation performance, including metrics like credit issuance and system health
- Collaborate on transitioning automation into integrated web-based solutions
- Design and execute data-driven experiments to test new ideas
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation
- Present findings and opportunities to leadership through both quantitative and qualitative analysis
Salary Range: $95k - $130k (Depending on years of experience)

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related STEM field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, analytics, software, consulting, or operations/product roles at a tech-focused organization
- Proficiency in Python
- Ability to work 5 days on-site in office
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Degree in computer science, data science, physics, or a related technical discipline
- Strong command of SQL and Python
- Familiarity with database design, query optimization, and ETL processes
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python, C#)
- Background in fast-paced environments such as startups or consulting
- Excellent project management and prioritization abilities
- Strong communication skills, especially when translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence across levels
