Job Description

A higher education client is transitioning to Oracle Financial Cloud. They are seeking remote Temporary Data Entry Specialists to assist with manual data entry, verification, and reconciliation of financial data following go live. This critical short-term support will help ensure the accuracy of financial records during the stabilization period.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in high-volume data entry within business, finance, or administrative contexts, handling large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.

Experience with strong organizational skills, following complex procedures, maintaining detailed records, and managing time effectively.

Experience with technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and cloud-based systems, with the ability to learn new software tools quickly.

Experience resolving Chart of Accounts issues and manually tracking and fixing open purchase orders.

Experience validating custom fields and performing periodic reconciliations to prevent budget errors.

Experience handling high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy through manual validation processes.

Experience tracking requisitions and purchase orders offline to maintain lien accuracy.

Experience processing payroll journals post-SCT cutoff and adjusting entries up to 120 days past.
Experience managing UCPath funding entries and budget distributions.

Experience creating subaward purchase orders, preferably using the Huron tool.

Experience reviewing and identifying root causes of unprocessed costs in projects and grants.

Experience extracting detailed transactions from the Oracle Projects and Grants Management Module and utilizing Fusion Data Analytics for reporting.

Experience performing manual journaling for mid-year financial aid adjustments.

Experience entering and managing construction contracts in Jaggaer with accurate GL/Projects and Grants chartstrings.

Experience updating accounts for open work orders in WebTMA, including records for technicians, preventative maintenance tasks, and stockroom orders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Accounting knowledge and experience with an understanding of a chart of accounts structure.

Experience with Oracle Financial Cloud or similar enterprise financial systems

Familiarity with financial transactions and documents (e.g., invoices, POs, journal entries)

Contract & grant administration experience in higher education (pre-award proposal initiatives, management of funds post-award, and closeout activities for federal, state, local and private sponsors)

Higher education or public sector administrative experience
