Job Description

An entertainment client based in Burbank is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support a portfolio of business-critical applications within a centralized studio operations platform. This platform serves as an umbrella for multiple products that support executive leadership, legal, production, and business operations teams. The Project Manager will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive project execution, improve operational processes, manage roadmaps, and ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives. This individual will also help support strategic intake and discovery efforts focused on evaluating, consolidating, and modernizing tools used across studio organizations.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple cross-functional projects and product initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and stakeholders to track roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Create and maintain project plans, documentation, status reports, dashboards, and meeting cadences.
• Drive process improvements and establish scalable project management best practices across teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, roadmap reviews, sprint planning sessions, and executive updates.
• Support strategic intake and discovery efforts by gathering requirements, evaluating existing tools, and helping define future-state solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior project managers and help implement consistent project management methodologies across programs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Project Management experience.
○ Experience managing complex cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience creating project plans, executive status reporting, process documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.
• Currently using AI within work - they use claude and cursor but other tools are acceptable.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting product development or SaaS application teams.
• Entertainment, media, studio, or content production industry experience.
• Experience supporting executive-facing applications, reporting platforms, or business intelligence products.
• Experience driving tool consolidation, process transformation, or strategic planning initiatives.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications.
• Experience mentoring project managers or leading PMO process improvements.
Claude or Cursor expertise.
