Job Description
An entertainment client based in Burbank is seeking a Sr. AI Product Manager to join a studio and production office technology team within the PMO. This person should have experience developing applications, dashboards, and tools employing AI coding assistants, concentrating on financial aspects within a Media Production setting. You are proficient in prompt engineering for code generation and refactoring, skilled in transitioning legacy dashboards (MicroStrategy, BI, Tableau) and reports to a React framework, with expertise in semantic and data modeling as well as performance tuning and optimization. This person does not work from slides and tickets. This person sits with end users and developers in AI coding environments, prototypes with AI tools, understands the data, understands the UI, and knows how to turn business problems into AI-accelerated applications and reporting solutions.
For his role you will need to know how to evaluate AI-generated code for quality and security, and can quickly prototype a React dashboard or API specification with AI tools and minimal management input. Highly preferred to have experience with media, theatrical production, financial, or operational data environments, possess hands-on experience in film production and are well-versed in the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the film industry.

Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of experience as a product owner or manager
• 6+ years of Microstrategy (data visualization tool) Experience (or a combination of Power Bi/Tableau/Microstrategy as long as total is 6+ years and Microstrategy experience is recent)
○ (Specifically looking for the ability to transition legacy dashboards to Microstrategy, PowerBI, or tableau)
• 5+ years of Data Warehouse Experience (they use SQL DB and Postgres/Snowflake)
• Expert in SQL and Python (Backend: Kotlin, Springboot, REST API's)
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude (enough that they can push code to production/vibe code, and de-bug or create ai agents within an agentic design model)
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical discipline
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with financial data
• Entertainment industry or production tech experience
• Proficiency with Typescript
• React proficiency - able to create custom web app dashboards and migrate legacy analytics to a React framework
• Familiarity with Media & Entertainment data or a production technology space
