Job Description

An employer is looking for a Broadband Technician Lead to join their team in Garberville, California. This person will be responsible for residential and commercial installation, service and repair, and disconnections for data, video, and phone on the customer premises with a high level of focus on customer service, customer education, and quality of work. This role will be responsible for ensuring and recording correct RF signal levels. The Broadband Technical Lead is required to communicate with leadership and dispatch, as well as assist supervisors and technicians with escalations and specialized work orders, or any other supervisory duties as needed. This role participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience as a Broadband Technician
2+ years of experience in residential and commercial install, service/repair, and disconnects (data, video, phone) on customer premises
2+ years of experience recording correct RF and signal levels within specifications
2+ years of experience with FTTH fusion splicing
Excellent communication
High School Diploma or GED
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
