Job Description

About the Role
We are seeking a senior‑level Power Apps Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, build, and enhance enterprise‑grade Power Platform solutions that support complex operational and inspection workflows. This role will focus on creating centralized hub applications, modernizing legacy tools, and delivering high‑impact, low‑code solutions tightly integrated with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
This is not a junior role. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on designer and builder who can take an idea from intake and discovery through execution, provide technical leadership, and deliver measurable business value.
Key Initiatives You’ll Support
Centralized Hub Applications: Design and build custom Power Apps that serve as centralized tools for multiple business functions
Legacy Application Modernization: Enhance and modernize existing applications originally built quickly in earlier environments (e.g., Windows 7 era), with a focus on improved UI, usability, and scalability
End‑to‑End Inspection & Review Tools: Develop complex systems inspection applications that manage workflows from project submission through multiple dependency reviews, approvals, delegation of authority, and execution
Automation & Workflow Orchestration: Use Power Automate to manage sophisticated, data‑driven workflows that move requests, reviews, and decisions across teams efficiently.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps supporting complex business processes
Lead intake, scoping, discovery, build, and delivery of new applications from scratch
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user‑friendly low‑code solutions
Build and manage Power Automate flows, connections, triggers, and integrations to ensure data and processes move correctly end‑to‑end
Manage small to large projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
Apply Power Platform governance, security, documentation, and best practices, including environment management and role‑based access
Integrate applications with the broader Microsoft 365 landscape
Support business continuity needs by providing coverage during team member absences

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of Power Platform Developer
- Experience building Power Apps from scratch (Have an example of a power application that has brough businesses value (how it has transformed the business in a positive way)
- Ability to own your development as a project / program manager
- Experience with Power Automation (Creating flows and connection points)
- Experience with SQL Database and MS Lists
- Excellent oral and written communication (stakeholder engagement and presentations to leadership)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Python (cloud computing process being standardized). Understand how to write code to help with automation
