Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, business‑centric Program Manager with strong data management expertise to support governance and quality improvement efforts within our electric operational data environment. This role sits at the intersection of GIS, data engineering, and work management, ensuring that operational boundaries and associated datasets are accurate, consistent, and aligned with the Regional Services Model (RSM).

You will partner closely with GIS teams, IT, data engineers, and operational stakeholders to drive data cleanup initiatives, manage updates, and ensure that geospatial and asset data accurately reflect real‑world operational structures across regions, divisions, districts, and local offices.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the data manager for electric operational boundary datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational structures.

Oversee data cleanup efforts, including reconciliation of datasets that are not currently tied to operational boundaries.

Project manage ongoing data engineering and GIS work—tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring execution against plan.

Lead governance‑focused initiatives to improve data quality and ensure accurate datasets cascade into downstream work management processes (e.g., System Inspection, Construction Management, Division/GC workflows).

Validate that geospatial data accurately reflects asset locations and the correct operational office or work center.

Ensure data cleanup methods are precise, repeatable, and compliant with governance standards.

Coordinate with asset owners when asset data changes occur; ensure proper communication and documentation.

Support long‑term boundary management responsibilities (e.g., merging or redrawing boundaries when operational changes occur), even if out of scope for the current year.

Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to identify issues, define problems, and guide teams toward actionable solutions.

Collaborate with IT, GIS, and business partners to ensure alignment across systems and processes.
