This engineer will focus equally on Power BI and SQL Server. They will utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports. They will design, develop, and maintain robust data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes. Additionally, they will implement and optimize data warehousing solutions using STAR and Snowflake schemas. This engineer will develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Stored Procedures and SSIS, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data platforms. They will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, provide technical support, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in BI and data engineering.
The hourly rate for this position will range from $47-$51/hour based on experience.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience developing visualizations and reports using Power BI, including proficiency in Self Service BI.
8+ years of experience developing Enterprise-scale Data Warehouses and Data Marts, including:
-Enhancing current data mart development
-Designing and implementing FACT Tables
-Applying Ralph Kimball methodology/Kimball Lifecycle
principles
8+ years of experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, scripts, and writing ETL processes using SQL Server Stored Procedures and SSIS.
Strong experience with data warehousing concepts, including STAR and Snowflake schemas.
Solid understanding of database management systems and data integration techniques.
Experience in Agile SDLC, including the use of JIRA for project management and tracking.
