Job Description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electric Distribution Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of capacity and reliability projects across the Cupertino–Monterey territory. This role requires strong field execution experience, comfort working directly with cities and customers, and a deep understanding of PG&E systems and project lifecycles.
Portfolio management experience, including:
Managing 7–15 active projects
Total portfolio value $10–15M
Majority of construction execution occurring in 2027
Current focus on readiness activities and initiating construction
Experience with Capacity and Reliability projects

Required Skills & Experience

Must‑Have Qualifications
3–5 years of project management experience
Electric distribution experience, including:
Field work “in the street”
Coordinating with cities, customers, and external agencies for permits
Navigating customer objections and meeting city requirements
Strong understanding of project lifecycles and end‑to‑end delivery
PG&E experience (Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar)
Faster ramp‑up due to familiarity with PG&E systems and processes
Understanding of PG&E’s project lifecycle and internal workflows
SAP proficiency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Unifier, CMDB
- Past PGE Experience
