Job Description

Day-to-day:
Insight Global is looking for a Design Project Manager for an industry leading environmental engineering firm in Orange County, CA. This individual will be responsible for leading design and project management efforts for water treatment facilities. Ideally, this individual will have previous experience consulting services for water treatment facilities at the District/Metropolitan level. Responsibilities will include the following:

- Develops, organizes, and executes engineering tasks for projects of varying scales.
- Engages in process design engineering for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including providing engineering services and overseeing construction management.
- Manages budget, schedule, contractual commitments, and quality standards.
- Creates engineering designs, compiles reports, formulates plans, drafts specifications, conducting water quality studies and estimates costs for diverse water projects.
- Produces technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; performs data entry and analysis, and oversees the construction phase of projects.
Supervises and coordinates the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other team members involved in specific assignments.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
- 10+ years of Water Treatment Project Experience
- Experience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning
- Registered Professional Engineer (Preferably in the State of California)
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Must have demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
