Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and planning, with significant experience in wastewater-focused processes. This role will primarily focus on solids treatment, with additional responsibilities in liquid treatment and miscellaneous systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs for wastewater treatment processes, including preliminary and primary treatment, biological treatment, secondary clarifiers, tertiary treatment, and chemical systems.
Solids Treatment: Manage processes such as thickening and dewatering, anaerobic digestion, thermal drying, sludge pumping, and chemical systems (polymer, etc.).
Miscellaneous Systems: Oversee odor control, pump stations, and blower systems.
Project Management: Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and maintain strong relationships.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Seller/Doer Role: Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering. Advanced degrees preferred.
Experience: 5-15 years of relevant experience for mid- to senior level positions; 10+ years for project managers.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
