Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician to support operations at our Costa Mesa facility. This individual will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing test fixtures and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality compliance.
Working under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Engineering Manager, the technician will collaborate closely with Test Engineers to support production testing operations. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and ensuring all test systems meet engineering and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of test fixtures and equipment
Ensuring all test equipment is operational, calibrated, and maintained
Supporting workflow scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
Executing assigned tasks efficiently and within required timelines
Using electronic test equipment to diagnose issues and interpret results
Maintaining compliance with safety standards and quality procedures
Supporting overall production efficiency through proactive equipment management

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma/GED required
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology OR Technical Trade School certification OR Military technical training (with ~4 years relevant experience)
Experience using electronic test equipment (DVMs, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair test fixtures and equipment
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
Ability to use hand tools and perform soldering
Strong communication skills (written and verbal, English)
Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring (color vision required)
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for long periods, climbing ladders)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with high voltage testing (480V)
Prior manufacturing or test engineering environment experience
Experience with workflow scheduling or basic administrative coordination
Familiarity with Schneider Electric processes or similar quality systems
