Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and develop control algorithms; download and deploy source code to controllers; manage system databases; and implement animated, user‑friendly graphical interfaces.
Integrate multiple building automation systems, enabling communication across diverse platforms and protocols through a unified front‑end interface.
Execute project start‑ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of installed Building Automation Systems (BAS) and associated mechanical systems.
Coordinate with customer IT departments on network architecture, including network drops, IP addressing, cybersecurity considerations, and system monitoring tools.
Collaborate with equipment vendors to align communication protocols, encryption standards, and database requirements for successful system integration.
Generate and analyze semi‑complex system reports to evaluate performance; work with the project team to demonstrate system functionality and confirm alignment with the contracted scope of work.
Participate in final system inspections and testing, ensure customer acceptance, and provide end‑user training on system operation and functionality.
Deliver plans and control system documentation to application engineering teams to support accurate as‑built drawings using current digital technologies.
Mentor and support other specialists by sharing automation, controls, and HVAC product knowledge as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of Programming experience with Metasys Johnson Controls
General understanding of IP networks.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints
