Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software. Designs and documents network architecture. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required. 2 - 5 years of experience.

Experience: Two or more years of data network experience.
Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills: Clear understanding of bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet, transport technologies and IEEE and ANSI standards;
Knowledge of network design, devices, network appliances, network architecture, protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP and MPLS) and network topology; In-depth data network knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model with a focus on Layer 2; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Skills: English communication skills.
Abilities: Deadline-driven with the ability to learn new technologies.
Operating Systems Supported: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, RAD, Adva, Ciena
Automation Experience not required but a plus: Python
