• Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software.
• Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
• Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters.
• Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
• Tests and tunes security devices and systems.
• Programs routers and switches.
• Implements communications technologies (data or voice).
• Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of data network experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
• Clear understanding of bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet, transport technologies and IEEE and ANSI standards
• Knowledge of network design, devices, network appliances, network architecture, protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP and MPLS) and network topology
• In-depth data network knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model with a focus on Layer 2
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Deadline-driven with the ability to learn new technologies
• Operating Systems Supported: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, RAD, Adva, Ciena
• Executing automation scripts (Python)

*This role is ONSITE, so you must live/work near Cerritos, CA*
Pay Rate between $40-45/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
