Sr. FP&A Analyst

Insight Global is seeking an FP&A Analyst for one of our largest clients sitting out of their Carlsbad, CA facility. This individual will be supporting the manufacturing plant on a daily basis and interacting with multiple teams including the finance operations team, sales teams, manufacturing teams, product development teams, marketing teams, etc. to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making. They will be assisting in month-end closing activities, helping to close the books for specific journal entries, and will be conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including variance analysis, trend analysis, financial modeling, and commissions calculations.
The Analyst will also be partaking in some budgeting and forecasting, responsible for understanding where the client is spending their money and ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives. They will be helping not only with new analysis, but also with updating files and running data on current analysis. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience with reporting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.






Pay Rate: $45-55/hr

• 5 years of commercial financial planning & analysis/accounting experience.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience performing variance analysis and trend analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge of financial software, specifically SAP. (Client uses ECC version)
