Job Description

We are partnering with a global leader in advanced electronics and automation solutions to find a Senior Motion Control Engineer to join their product development team. This individual will play a key role in designing, testing, and releasing new multi-axis motion systems used in high-precision assembly and advanced packaging applications. The engineer will apply strong control systems expertise to develop products that meet rigorous performance, safety, and quality standards while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers—as well as product management and operations, to bring innovative new products to market that create real value for customers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in motion control, servo systems, or automation engineering
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, and control systems integration
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test/simulation plans for motion systems
• Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
• Proven track record of delivering engineering projects on time with high quality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Ph.D. in Control Systems or related discipline
• Experience with stage-gate or structured product development processes
• Background in customer interactions (VOC, technical discussions, factory/site visits)
• Prior experience launching new products into manufacturing environments
