Job Description

An employer in the Carlsbad, CA area is looking for an IT Support Technician II to join their team. This person will be joining a team of 5+ technicians and will be responsible for providing general IT, hardware, software, and installation support to 1k+ end users both in-person and remotely. They will respond to customer inquiries via a ticketing system, approximately 15 20 tickets per day. Support consists of but is not limited to, troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office 365 issues, imaging and configuring desktops for new hires, and installing hardware and equipment. This individual will work on-site, roughly 70% of support will be done remotely and the remaining 30% will require physical attention. The employer is looking for a self-motivated team player with strong customer service skills to join their team.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years in IT, supporting enterprise level companies at Tiers I & II level
Experience with software & hardware support Windows, MacOS and basic networking
Well versed in O365 application administration, including SharePoint
Experience with Entra (formerly known as Azure AD) & Intune
Experience with SolarWinds ticketing system or similar

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in related field
A+ or MCSE certification
Experience with Okta
Experience with Cayosoft
