A dynamic employer in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Director, Omnichannel Operations Excellence & Execution Lead to join their team. This role is crucial for spearheading omnichannel operations and ensuring seamless campaign execution across all brands. The Director will collaborate closely with various internal teams and agencies to optimize performance based on data-driven insights while maintaining compliance and data privacy standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Operations Management: Oversee the seamless execution of omnichannel campaigns, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and compliance standards.
Asset Building:
Conduct QC testing for campaigns to ensure they meet PRC approval and are compliance-ready.
Measure and optimize campaign performance in collaboration with Omnichannel strategy leaders.
Ensure all processes comply with data privacy regulations and are compliance-ready.
Data Tracking and Optimization:
Collaborate with Data Operations and IT to build tracking platforms that monitor campaign progress and performance.
Utilize data analytics to refine strategies and advise omnichannel strategists based on findings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Compliance, Commercial Strategy teams (including two omnichannel strategists and their leader), and IT to ensure effective integration across all channels (web, social media, etc.).
Agency Management:
Manage relationships with external agencies, including multiple agencies of record for each brand, to ensure alignment on campaign execution.
Help oversee the paid media agency, which serves as the primary agency across all brands and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Performance Metrics Definition: Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance the effectiveness of omnichannel strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Implement a continuous improvement framework to refine processes and drive operational excellence across all campaigns.
Location & Travel:
Hybrid: Locations in Carlsbad, CA or Boston, MA.
Estimated Travel: Up to 25%, primarily for strategy meetings, workshops, and conferences.

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in omnichannel operations, campaign management, or related fields, specifically within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Proven experience in leading end-to-end campaign execution and operational frameworks.
Strong proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements related to omnichannel marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience managing relationships with external agencies and overseeing integrated marketing campaigns.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or MSc) is a plus.
Experience in developing and executing omnichannel operations strategies within the rare disease therapeutic area.
