Job Description

Technical project management lead, leading the creation and support of technical project plans for Client's Production Technology and be a primary point of contact for the Engineering/Architecture teams. They are to ensure these plans are achievable by our engineering teams and in designing plans that meet the timelines.



We're looking for a project manager to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a variety of projects and initiatives. You'll be supporting the day to day operational aspects of supporting feature production and asset management projects across all banners and will play the critical role of implementing key initiatives for production groups within the Technology team.



Responsibilities:

- Lead operational and growth initiatives from end-to-end, including gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule and resourcing for the technology team (e.g., IT Infrastructure Engineering, Desktop Support)

- Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team including: timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders

- Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

- Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates

- Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics via MS Power BI

- Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas, and implement projects or processes to streamline and improve operations

- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Required Skills & Experience

- Experienced working with IT Infrastructure equipment and architecture/engineering (Network, Storage, Systems Engineering, Data Center IDF/MDF)

- Specific experience managing media storage or enterprise storage projects(Dell Isilon, Quantum Stornext, etc.)

- Technical Project Management experience (build of plans, timeline/scheduling, technical design, setup production deployments and returns, etc.)

- 7 plus years relative work experience is a must as a Project Manager

- Ability to work in fast paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently(important)

- Strong Experience with PPM Tools like Smartsheet's, Confluence, Jira

- Experience managing resource capacity, and being able to manage the health/current state of the project through data/analytics(IE leverage BI Reporting functions to provide updates/allow stakeholders to make more informed decisions)

- Experienced in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

- Onsite/Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite in Burbank

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Technical background

- Past experience working in a PMO

- Has leveraged BI/Data Analytics to help inform the business/stakeholders of project status, as well, to help guide them on making more informed business decisions(the PMO has a dedicated analytics group that creates all of the dashboards across the PMO)
