Job Description

We are seeking a senior, multi‑disciplinary Systems Analyst who can operate as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner/Manager, and Project Lead. This individual will serve as the connective tissue between executive stakeholders, business partners, IT, development/engineering teams, and QA, translating ambiguity into clarity and strategy into executable solutions.
This role supports large‑scale modernization initiatives across regulated, transactional systems while also handling day‑to‑day operational enhancements. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, creative, and forward‑thinking, with a strong desire to continuously evolve as technology evolves—particularly in the areas of automation, system optimization, and modern delivery practices. Success requires executive presence, technical depth, disciplined documentation, and the ability to lead through influence across cross‑functional and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary bridge between executive leadership, business partners, IT, engineering, and QA teams, ensuring end‑to‑end alignment from strategy through delivery
- Lead requirements definition for complex, large‑scale programs while supporting ongoing operational requests
- Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, structured, and testable deliverables, including:
~User stories with acceptance criteria (2)
~Use cases
~Process flows
~Traceability matrices
~Epics
~Technical and functional documentation
- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions across business and technology teams
- Partner closely with development, QA, and offshore delivery teams to drive execution and measurable outcomes
- Serve as a thought partner on solution design, trade‑offs, and approach justification, ensuring alignment with both business goals and technical realities
- Evaluate how systems interact, including APIs, web services, and service‑oriented architecture, to inform solutioning
Identify opportunities to leverage automation and emerging technologies to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Establish and enforce documentation standards, traceability, and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

- 8-12+ years of total experience as a BSA, Product Owner/Manager, or PM
- Senior or lead level experience with executive‑facing responsibilities and leading projects end to end, creating project plans
- Experience supporting transactional systems
- Proven ability to lead large, complex initiatives while managing day‑to‑day operational requests
- Deep experience converting business and functional requirements into actionable, traceable artifacts
- Experience supporting backend Agile Engineering teams
- Ability to engage and influence executives, business users, IT leadership, engineers, and QA teams & translate both functional/technical requirements
- Knowledge of APIs, web services, service‑oriented architecture
- Process improvement & solutioning experience
- Experience creating user stories, epics, traceability matrices
- Exposure to automation frameworks, workflow optimization, or emerging delivery technologies
- Strong documentation discipline and traceability mindset
- Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master’s degree
- Startup or high‑growth environment experience
- Consulting/Big Four experience
