Job Description
Insight Global is seeking to hire a Corporate Controller who will be supporting a multinational organization in the energy/petroleum industry. You will be actively involved with all aspects of financial operations and making sure everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities can include tracking transactions, measuring the volume/value of what gets sold daily, coordinating with accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating relevant financial reports, coordinating with auditors, and managing a team of about 10 finance/accounting individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the global accounting function, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and financial close processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Oversee compliance with local statutory reporting requirements in all jurisdictions.
• Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Utilize ERP systems and accounting processes to support scalability.
• Lead and mentor a global team of accounting professionals.

Required Skills & Experience
• MUST have CPA.
• 8+ years of experience as a controller or in similar senior finance roles.
• Management experience of a team with 10+ people.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting.
• Strong experience being hands on with anything finance related.
• Experience handling finances domestically and internationally.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working in the petroleum industry.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Experience at a company who does daily transactions and closes.
