Job Description
An employer in Auburn, CA is seeking a Sr Engineer to join their hydro power generation division. This person will be responsible for :
- Leading investigation, analysis, and resolution of operational and technical issues across projects and processes
- Supporting and drive team performance by taking ownership of goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Preparing and analyze operational reports, metrics, and performance statistics to inform decision-making
- Assisting in contract lifecycle activities including document preparation and execution support
- Championing a strong safety culture by proactively identifying risks, resolving unsafe conditions, and promoting safety best practices
- Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (engineering or related field preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive priorities effectively
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives
Strong initiative, accountability, teamwork, and customer focus
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Experience supporting or leading project management activities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Professional Engineer (PE) License
~7+ years of post-graduate engineering experience
Experience in operations or field-based environments
Background in utilities, construction, or infrastructure projects
