Job Description

- 3+ years of Municipal Permit Technician experience
- Experience with Collecting Fee's, Processing Applications, Issuing Permits, etc.
-Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills and customer support
-Experience processing/issuing permits for a large city and/or large scale projects
- Minimum of a H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
-Able to commute on-site 5 days a week

Required Skills & Experience

Insight Global is looking for a Permit Technician to join a large engineering consulting firm in Orange County, CA. This individual will be working directly with municipalities for support on over the counter work for permit application reviews, calculating permit fees, assisting with permit applications, filtering correct documentation to the delegated staff for plan reviews, etc. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a jurisdiction that has had large scale projects, as this role will be a high-volume position. This position will require 5 days.
