A company that is a leader in American advance battery materials is seeking a skilled document control specialist. As a Document Control Specialist on the Capital Projects team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing structured document workflows that support a rapidly scaling organization. You are highly organized, technically proficient, and deeply familiar with document lifecycle management. In this role, you will manage controlled documents across various formats, build and refine workflows and metadata rules in AODocs, and ensure all documentation meets compliance and traceability standards. Youll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and external partners, review and standardize incoming documents, create templates and automated routing logic, and generate reports to track key performance indicators. Additionally, you will train internal stakeholders and vendors on document control procedures and support quality assurance efforts by verifying that critical documentation is current, approved, and properly archived.

- 14 years of experience in document control, project administration, or information management on capital or industrial projects
- Experience with AODocs, Google Workspace, or other structured document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText)
- Understanding of document lifecycle management, versioning, and transmittals.
- Ability to manage large volumes of documentation across multiple stakeholder groups
- Comfortable using spreadsheets or scripting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel, basic formulas/macros) to support documentation tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with ACC and/or Procore type of platforms
- Ability to lead document control efforts
- Ability to structure large volumes of project documents (e.g., drawings, RFIs, specifications, etc.) efficiently.
- Understanding of cloud document control, data security, and user permissions in a collaborative online environment.
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or energy fields is a plus
