Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Operations Analyst II to join a leading Canadian financial institution’s Global Trade Finance Operations team in Vancouver or Calgary. This 18‑month contract plays a critical role in supporting international trade finance transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service to corporate clients. In this role, the analyst will work closely with corporate clients and internal partners to review, draft, issue, and amend various types of guarantees and standby letters of credit, ensuring alignment with ICC rules and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Global Trade Finance Operations, specifically Guarantees/SBLCs.
• Strong understanding of ICC rules (ISP98, UCP 600, URDG 758).
• Familiarity with AML procedures, due diligence requirements, and risk assessment in trade finance.
• CDCS and CSDG certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, or related field.
• Experience with trade finance systems (must‑have).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the proven ability to work with corporate clients and internal partners.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CAMS certification.
• Bilingual in French
