Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Front End Developer to join one of Canada's largest retailers. This position is part of a multi-year program based in Vancouver, BC, requiring three days in the office each week for a six-month contract.
In this role, you will be part of an exciting Loyalty & Membership team responsible for enhancing the customer journey and engagement. You will contribute to a multi-million dollar project focused on customizing the guest experience across primary applications. The primary objective of this role is to improve customer engagement and foster long-lasting relationships by developing innovative trends and cutting-edge features.
Your responsibilities will include not only maintaining affiliated applications and APIs but also creating enhanced features to meet the diverse needs of our client's stakeholders. You will engage in research and development, conceptualizing, and estimating solutions within an agile environment.
The team is small but dynamic, consisting of three other Senior Engineers, a Project Manager, a Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and additional scrum team members. We are looking for a collaborative team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and contribute actively to the project's success.

Required Skills & Experience
Over 5 years of Front End Developer experience on large scale web applications
Strong experience developing reusable web components with React.js and Typescript
Back-end development capabilities leveraging technologies such as Node.js
Experienced in designing and deploying GraphQL APIs and serverless functions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Module federation knowledge
