The Senior IT Advisor will work with Enterprise Architecture and security teams to guide cybersecurity strategy and implementation across Telus and their clients. Responsibilities include developing strategic roadmaps, participating in technical design and risk assessments, aligning solutions with enterprise architecture, and supporting cybersecurity planning and remediation efforts.

7+ years of experience designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions in large enterprise environments
4+ years in a dedicated cybersecurity role with strategic or advisory responsibilities
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications
Experience in at least two of the following areas:
Infrastructure & Data Centre Security
Endpoint Security
Network Security
Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Security Monitoring & Operations
Threat & Vulnerability Management
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Application Security
Data Protection
Operational Technology (OT) Security
Experience with IAM, cloud, application, or OT security
Experience with NERC CIP compliance
Experience supporting electric utilities
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
