Job Description
Senior Data Engineer to lead the enterprise data streams ingesting data from multiple data sources into Snowflake, lead the identification, design and implementation of data modelling and more. The Senior- level Data Engineer is expected to have 8+ years of experience.
The engineer will support the ESG Reporting Technology team and closely partner with Sustainability and Climate business teams
Key Responsibilities
• Lead development and maintenance of data engineering pipelines and procedures, and policies
• Lead identification, design, and implementation of integration, modelling, and orchestration of complex data using relevant coding language(s)
• Act as subject matter expert for data engineering needs
• Performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis, and technical troubleshooting in a sometimes, ambiguous environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience working with cloud based systems - Azure & Snowflake data warehouses Expertise in designing data pipelines , table structures, and sql queries
• Working experience of scripting, data science and analytics (SQL, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) is needed
• Working knowledge of Azure Devops , GitLab
Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of experience as a Software developer in BI space is needed
• Strong documentation skills – creating templates and training material for crossfunctional teams as well as internal team members.
• Demonstrable self-reliance and flexibility in the workplace.
• Must be self-confident, outgoing, and able to work effectively with management and staff.
• Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, and approachable.
• Service oriented and will apply themselves to creating a collaborative team dynamic.
