The Dash Developer will collaborate with the Fleet Intelligence team to design and develop new Plotly Dash applications that align with business priorities and user needs. This role involves managing intermediate versions for user review, incorporating feedback, and executing user acceptance testing. The developer will focus on creating intuitive, business-driven designs that meet company standards and industry best practices to maximize user adoption. Responsibilities also include redesigning existing Dash apps to enhance UI/UX and integration into business processes, as well as contributing to Fleet Intelligence’s Python library and GitHub repositories to standardize Dash design elements.

Own the development of front-end solutions, ensuring they remain reliable and aligned with business use cases.
Adhere to internal software development standards, including thorough documentation, code protection, testing, and proper handling of change requests and approvals.
Identify opportunities to standardize functional components and design elements across applications.
Collaborate with team members to share UI/UX best practices and work together to establish new design standards for the company’s Dash App platform.
Maintain and update documentation for processes, code, and software supporting the organization’s digital transformation strategy.
Stay informed on emerging technologies in Plotly Dash development, big data front-end integrations, and AI/machine learning applications.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of hands-on experience with Plotly Dash, including building interactive features and data visualizations.
Strong understanding of user-focused front-end design and familiarity with modern UI/UX principles.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with end users, gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and provide training on new features.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to consistent, polished design execution.
Advanced proficiency in Python and CSS, particularly for data manipulation, application logic, and leveraging Plotly libraries (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Dash Core & HTML Components).
Demonstrated success in creating responsive enterprise-grade web applications using Plotly Dash.
Knowledge of version control and CI/CD practices using GitHub.
Dedicated to producing high-quality, well-documented code, including versioning and peer reviews.
Creative problem solver with an innovative and adaptable mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Degree in Graphic Design, Cognitive Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
