Job Description
As a Marketing and Business Development Support Specialist, you will identify and pursue new business and marketing opportunities, plan and execute events, sponsorships, and seminars to enhance client engagement and firm visibility, and collaborate with graphic designers to produce promotional materials. You will coordinate and draft regional ranking submissions and award nominations, and update firm brochures and bios. Additionally, you will assist with high-quality RFP responses and presentations, coordinate with industry groups to gather information, and track RFP outcomes. In Strategic Account Management, you will develop and implement strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, prepare marketing research reports, and monitor SAM performance and progress. Some travel and work outside of normal business hours may be required.

Required Skills & Experience
• 4-7 years of experience in a marketing and business development role in professional services. Strong preference for candidates with legal or other professional services-related firm experience
• An undergraduate degree in Marketing and/or Business and/or completion of a two-year Marketing diploma program
• Previous events experience an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with Interaction or other CRM tools a plus
• Bilingualism - the ability to speak French, Mandarin, Cantonese or other languages will be an asset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Having worked in a law firm or legal setting in the past
- Having worked with an enterprise level company
