Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Establish industry-standard, risk-based security requirements aligned with international frameworks and regulatory obligations.

Deliver consistent, audit-ready security policies that meet compliance and operational needs.

Drive policy development projects independently, while collaborating with the internal CSO team and stakeholders across security, IT, product, and business units.

Contribute to all aspects of policy development, including:

Scoping and planning activities

Security requirement gap assessments

Security compliance control mapping exercises

Final delivery, communication, and awareness activities

Support team member projects by conducting detailed peer reviews at all stages of the development lifecycle.

Contribute to internal procedure improvements to strengthen policy development processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Policy & Documentation
Strong experience drafting policies, requirements, and project planning documents.

Ability to produce top-quality deliverables including gap assessments, policy documents, and change briefs.

Skilled in identifying and documenting control gaps to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Quality Assurance & Review
Proven track record in QA processes, including internal review and quality checking.

Ensuring that controls are properly met and deliverables are auditable.

Focus on accelerating project timelines while maintaining higher-level quality standards.

Standards & Regulatory Expertise
In-depth knowledge of ISO frameworks, particularly ISO 27000 implementation.

Experience with PCI DSS and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Strong background in data protection frameworks (e.g., INIST Framework).

Ability to align deliverables with regulatory and industry standards.

Project Execution
Experience managing projects with 4–5 deliverables each, ensuring completeness and compliance.

Ability to conduct gap assessments and provide actionable recommendations.

Collaborative approach: supporting consulting teams (e.g., BDO) by reviewing and refining work rather than leading initial drafting
