Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to support the Finance team during the year-end audit process. This role will primarily focus on managing audit confirmations, document processing, and performing administrative finance tasks. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between internal teams, external auditors, and counterparties to ensure accurate and timely completion of audit-related activities. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare, send, chase, and track audit confirmations for external auditors
Review and reconcile confirmation documents for accuracy and completeness
Manage inbound and outbound confirmations related to bank accounts, treasury products (including derivatives), and credit union lending
Maintain organized filing systems and trackers for audit samples
Resolve missing or incorrect documentation and escalate as needed
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to resolve missing or incorrect documentation

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to audits and reconciliations
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and audit processes
Working knowledge of financial systems
Highly organized with the ability to manage large volumes of requests and correspondence
Strong attention to detail, tact, and discretion in handling sensitive information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and escalate issues when necessary

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA designation or progress towards CPA is an asset
Experience with Workday is preferred
Previous experience in banking or treasury products
