Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Quality Engineer for one of our top Athleisure clients. This role focuses on promoting data quality practices across the enterprise, enabling automated monitoring using Collibra and Snowflake platforms, and supporting teams through training and best practice implementation. You will be instrumental in driving high standards of data quality, ensuring quality test coverage, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include educating cross-functional teams on data quality standards and practices through community of practice sessions and personalized training, enabling data quality monitoring on critical data elements, and training teams on the Collibra Data Quality tool. Additionally, you will enforce data quality policies and procedures across the enterprise, explore data quality capabilities on Snowflake and Power BI platforms, and contribute to story sizing and work on estimates for test planning, execution, delivery, and documentation. You will also coordinate with the global engineering team, understand and apply best practices effectively, ensure quality test deliverables with thorough test coverage, and strive for continuous improvement of QA practices.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years experience

Supporting team of 2-3 people

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.

Experience in ETL(extracting, transforming and loading data) /DWH ( data warehouse) and BI reports testing.

Proficient in SQL.

Experience with Snowflake platform.

Expertise in leveraging Collibra Data Quality monitoring & observability tool (or other data governance tools)

Knowledge of Data Quality Essentials, data management fundamentals and ETL concepts.

Experience in using any of the data quality monitoring tools.

Experience with any of cloud systems Azure, AWS or GCP.

Expertise in testing both batch & real-time data using SQL queries.
