Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our client in the eco-friendly household product space. This is a full-time contract opportunity for an initial duration of 6-months with a possibility of extensions or conversion to permanent. The role itself is primarily remote, however, will be client facing in-person. Within the role, you will be promoting our clients products to increase brand visibility and awareness to ultimately generate new customers. Target businesses would consist of trendy cafes & restaurants, hotels, pubs, and workout studios - the role will primarily be B2B sales. The successful candidate should have previous experience in the hospitality product industry and a strong network of various establishments in and within the Toronto area. You'll be expected to lead generate and prospect potential businesses to partner with and oversee the entirety of the sales cycle. The role will also require in-person meetings to establish strong partnerships with these businesses. From a technology standpoint, you should have prior experience working within CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, as you'll be required to log client calls, visits and meetings, while keeping a clean record of client accounts. You may also be required to support various events in and around the city for additional product awareness.
