Insight Global is looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to join one of Canada's largest athletic apparel retailers located in Vancouver, BC on a 12-month contract + extensions. In this role, this role will support the Lower funnel Product Catalog Management team. Experience with Product Data Catalogs, inter-team requirements and dependencies, and data flow diagramming is a must. Ability to work with stakeholders both business and operations is critical. Salsify experience is a nice to have.
Our client is looking to hire a dynamic Business Analyst to support a large engineering team and in collaboration with stakeholders and analyse data to identify process improvements for the Product Catalog infrastructure.
Identify, gather, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders
Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
Support implementation, testing, and configuration
Support cross-functional collaboration and communications with business stakeholders
Support development and maintenance of relevant documentation
Participate in knowledge transfer activities

Minimum of 35 years in a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within eCommerce, retail technology, or a related domain involving product catalog management and structured product data.
Demonstrated experience in data flow diagramming and partnership with architecture in developing schemas.
Solid understanding of API integrations, including RESTful services, and experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka for ingesting and distributing product data across platforms.
Familiarity with data governance, quality assurance, and digital catalog taxonomy management in an enterprise ecosystem.
Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog grooming, user story creation, and sprint planning.
Salsify, PCM or PXM experience
