- Over 5 years of Business Analysis experience; preferably from a retail, ecommerce, or large organization
- Experience partnering with Design System or User Experience teams to drive cross-functional alignment on pattern libraries and components
- Strong understanding of design systems, UX principles, and agile product development.
Demonstrate expert knowledge in Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma to facilitate backlog management, documentation, visual collaboration, and requirement traceability

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of Canada's largest retailers. This position is part of a multi-year program and is based in Vancouver, BC, with a requirement of 3-4 days in-office per week for a 18-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Design System Engineers to enhance the standardization, governance, and adoption of our design system. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and consistency of user experiences across our digital products.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Engineering) to identify opportunities for improving design system processes, workflows, and documentation.
- Analyze current usage patterns, pain points, and adoption metrics of the design system to inform strategic improvements.
- Define and maintain business requirements and success metrics for design system initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions with stakeholders to gather insights and align on priorities.
- Develop and maintain process maps, user journeys, and system documentation to support design system governance.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure design system enhancements align with broader product goals and roadmaps.
- Support change management efforts by contributing to communication plans, training materials, and onboarding resources for new design system features or standards.
Monitor KPIs and generate reports to track the impact of design system improvements on product development velocity and user experience consistency.
Mobile and/or International Design System experience
Experience working directly with design system teams or contributing to design system governance.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Background in user research or service design.
