Job Description
The Intermediate API Developer will be working on a project supporting sales related platforms for technicians in the field. They will be building and maintaining enterprise scale APIs together with a team. This individual will be speaking with high level stakeholders and making the necessary decisions while getting in the weeds and using existing frameworks to progress the platforms efficiencies. This individual will be working in a 12 month fully remote contract across one of Insight Global’s largest telecommunication clients in Canada.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ Years of Experience as an API Developer/Engineer
• Has worked in an enterprise environment developing enterprise scale APIs
• Experience working within cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Python, TypeScript for coding (SQL helpful for data analysis)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Has worked maintaining repositories
• Business acumen – will be speaking with high level stakeholders across the projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Can write business documentation from scratch
• Heavy interest in Gen-Tech AI and MCP Servers
- Keeps up with newest trends in AI
• Background in data engineering
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
