Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Facility Project Engineer supporting the development and delivery of Renewable Gas Supply (RGS) systems. This role focuses on engineering design, project management, and construction support for interconnecting stations and pipelines that integrate renewable gas into FEI’s transmission and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop project cost and schedule estimates, design adequacy, and construction feasibility documentation.
• Lead engineering activities from FEED through detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee external and internal engineering resources.
• Ensure compliance with AACE Class level definitions and FEI standards.
• Provide onsite construction monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing support.
• Deliver complete engineering close-out documentation.
Scope of Services (Schedule A Highlights)
• Create Scope of Work documents for engineering contracts.
• Develop design standards, specifications, and standard drawings.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Environmental, Property Services, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory codes and FEI Corporate Reference Library.
• Support business process development for RGS project execution.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• EGBC registered or eligible P.Eng.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in natural gas facility and pipeline design/construction.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment and CSA Z662-23 & CSA B149.6 standards.
• Proven FEED and detailed design experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and data systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
