Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of large, complex electric power infrastructure projects from planning through completion for an engineering services firm. This role is responsible for managing safety, quality, schedule, and budget while overseeing multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, contractors, and external stakeholders and will report to the Director of Project Delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Manage project resources (budget, materials, and staffing) to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and on budget
- Apply expertise in construction methods, estimating, and contract management to support project execution
- Identify and manage project risks, including safety, environmental, reputational, and Indigenous relations risks
- Serve as a subject matter expert and support claims management and other construction-related activities as needed

Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of construction management experience
Strong experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or utility projects
Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies, estimating, and contract management
Strong understanding of project and contract management principles
Excellent knowledge of safety standards and regulations (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health standards, WorkSafe regulations)
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience/Familiarity with BC Hydro
