Insight Global is seeking a Sr Salesperson to step into the role of a Director of National Franchise Sales to support a large fast food restaurant chain. The Director will be the owner of the Franchise Sales strategy, ensuring there are qualified leads (potential franchisee owners) for every new restaurant location. They will do this by creating excitement and building confidence in new restaurant opportunities amongst the internal team and franchise partners. They will work in tandem with the companys Real Estate team to understand where they need to source potential candidates. They will also collaborate with the franchise marketing manager to build / drive leads, and work with Operations to facilitate the approval of any existing franchisees who are awarded a new restaurant opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the meticulous approval, recruitment and selection of new or existing franchisee candidates for new restaurants while also ensuring a 100% success rate on all new restaurants.
Responsible for A&Ws Franchise Sales Strategy, building excitement and confidence in new A&W restaurant opportunities, both internally as well as amongst our franchise partners.
Act as the primary Development contact for all franchisees who are focused on growing their A&W business, maintaining exceptional working relationships with these stakeholders.
Work within a cross-functional team to ensure the long term success and financial viability of the A&W business in the province of Quebec.
Work closely with both Real Estate and Operations to identify and action opportunities for growth, in particular among our multi-unit franchisees requiring both expansion and succession planning within their organizations.

- Sr Salesperson with 10+ years experience, ideally within a franchise system.
- Experience selling with long term partnerships / high value deals
- Fluency in both French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.
- The ability to recruit and secure candidates with tenacity and creativity, including the ability to effectively cold call and network in order to generate quality leads in the business communities of targeted markets.
- The ability to work within, influence and inspire a team, quickly building trust-based relationships.
- A degree / diploma in Business Education
- A willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, and have a valid drivers license.
Experience working in sales in a Franchise development role / within Franchise systems
Understanding of the structure of a commercial real estate transaction is an asset.
Familiarity working with collaborative technology software tools, such as the Google suite of products
