Insight Global is looking for an IS Budget & Project Analyst to support one of the largest automotive insurance companies in Canada. This role provides critical support to the CIO division by managing financial planning and project coordination activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with budgeting and procurement, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis (50%)
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for IS leadership.
Coordinate budget transactions and resolve financial coding issues with Finance.
Manage procurement card reconciliations and accruals.
Track and report on hardware warranties and financial data.
Assist with contract management and financial planning projects.
Project Coordination (50%)
Prepare and monitor purchase requests for hardware, software, and contracts.
Track project spending and forecast future maintenance costs.
Liaise with vendors, project teams, and Purchasing to align acquisition timelines.
Support timely implementation and documentation of IT projects.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
Critical thinking skills with the ability to support and influence team members
Strong customer service orientation
Familiarity with asset and procurement tracking tools, such as ServiceNow
Diploma in Finance, IT, or related field
