Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a full-time, permanent General Manager for a Peer-to-Peer Marketplace to support our client in Vancouver, BC. This hybrid position requires onsite presence three days per week. The successful candidate will lead the development, growth, and operations of the marketplace, setting a clear vision, defining a strategic roadmap, driving business strategy, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences through P2P offerings. This role demands a results-driven, entrepreneurial leader who will oversee a cross-functional team, work with external vendors, and lead go-to-market strategies to expand and scale P2P platforms. Expertise in marketplace business models, product ownership, and growth strategy is critical.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in business operations, product management, or strategic leadership
2+ years of experience in product and business line ownership, driving strategic decision-making and market expansion
2+ years of experience in two-sided marketplaces, with a strong understanding of network effects and user acquisition
4+ years of leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams and business units
Proven track record of successfully scaling high-growth, consumer-facing platforms
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience in go-to-market strategy, business development, and customer acquisition
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
