Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Automation QA to join a global auctioneering company. You will own quality for a critical Salesforce-centric stack—designing test strategies, building and maintaining automation, and partnering closely with product, engineering, and manual QA to deliver reliable releases on a predictable cadence. You combine risk‑based testing with strong technical acumen to provide fast, relevant feedback and high regression coverage across UI, API, integration, performance, and data layers.
What you’ll do
Own the testing strategy and automation for a Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud), ensuring high coverage across UI, REST APIs, integrations, business workflows, databases, and performance/load.
Learn the product architecture end-to-end; analyze complex requirements and business implications; derive high‑value test scenarios and write efficient, maintainable test cases.
Design and implement test automation frameworks; identify and automate critical regression tests; ensure robustness, stability, scalability, and CI/CD integration.
Establish common processes and standards, coordinating test activities across teams and aligning tooling, environments, data management, and quality gates.
Report defects clearly and succinctly; support rapid triage and root cause analysis; communicate test status, risks, and readiness across the SDLC.
Make decisions on planning and estimation, test milestones, tooling selection, and escalation/closure processes to enable timely, high‑quality releases.
Collaborate with manual QA (e.g., test case design and Jira workflows) to translate manual scenarios into automation, focusing on business value and maintainability.
Partner with automation engineers in adjacent teams working within the same stack, sharing patterns and leveraging community best practices to unblock challenges.
Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks; define mid‑ to long‑term testing architecture and continuously improve the automation stack.
Mentor teammates, strengthen team practices, and maintain productivity in the face of ambiguity while driving high customer satisfaction.
Support a strong safety culture, taking personal responsibility to keep yourself and your colleagues safe every day.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
