Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Controls / PLC Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility by troubleshooting equipment, improving uptime, and supporting new installs. This person will play a key role in maintaining and upgrading automated systems while partnering with Engineering and EHS teams on ongoing improvements.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, and automation-related equipment issues
Support equipment upgrades, new installs, and programming changes
Perform advanced maintenance to improve uptime and equipment reliability
Work cross-functionally with Engineering and EHS on CapEx projects
Complete work orders including electrical repairs, part replacements, and system upgrades
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols
Move between work areas as needed to support production demands
Operate independently while meeting productivity and quality standards
Contribute to a team-oriented environment and continuous improvement efforts

Required Skills & Experience
Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and/or Rexroth PLCs
Strong understanding of:
Motor controls and drive systems
Servo motors
AC/DC electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and modify PLC programs
Physically able to:
Stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods (6+ hours)
Lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable using:
Forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts (with proper training)
Ability to complete required safety training:
LOTO, Fall Protection, Arc Flash, HAZMAT, etc.
Strong attendance and reliability
